HEARD:  Honor folks.  Lay down.  Be kind. Agape.  Gracious daughter.  So what did they call John? They called him God’s gracious gift.

DREAM:  I dreamed that a Grandpa John and his grandson John (John’s name means God’s gracious gift) were working on a gift together.  Grandpa had a shiny red metal background of 2 metal book covers and grandson made a bunch of popup pages to attach to the inside and it was a beautiful wall art decoration for Christmas.  It was a large very colorful popout book to mount on the wall.  I was delighted with it!

Then someone gave us Christmas money as a gift and we were very grateful.

James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

As I was praying over the rhema about the Lord pouring His goodness and gifts out upon us this season, I turned to this one with anointed hands.

You who work hard and labor in your serving, remember to take quiet time to rest and play. Pick up your designing tools and enjoy creating.  I will pour out My creative anointing upon you and give ideas as you ask.  I take pleasure in giving you time out to play.  Creativity is a wonderful therapy for all who are driven.  Jump into the world of colors, balance and symmetry, negative and positive space.  Enjoy bringing order out of chaos.  Ponder how I too love these things as you reflect on what I have created.

Matthew 11:28-30 Come unto me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Genesis 1:2-3 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

Here some added clarity to this line:

The heartbeat of God is to give honor to whom honor is due.  It is to lay down one's life for another.  It is to be gracious.

Romans 13:7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor.

John 15:13 Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Luke 4:22   And all bore him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph's son?
