I turned to this today and it was very quickened for people making decisions right now:

PARABLE: In the 80's the Lord gave me a teaching parable where I was the next car behind a car at the light in front of us. The car in front of me put his foot to the gas, started to go, and then slammed on his brakes in hesitation. If I had looked away, I would have slammed right into the back of him. I stopped in time, but the Lord strongly talked to me through the experience. He told me that when one is called into leadership, he has people and angels in line following behind him. Angels back the decisions, prayers, deeds, etc and set things into motion. They are sent with assignment after a decision and or commitment is made to move ahead. When a leader changes his mind in hesitation, wavering, halting between 2 opinions, etc, then it puts everything behind him into a tail spin. Nothing is accomplished until the leader is set and stable in his faith about whatever the situation is about.

When I send you, I have a job for you to do. When you accept these assignments, things are set in motion to bring you the Words and preparations that you need. However, this is much greater than you. The lives that you touch must also be prepared, for I puzzle all things together. I send My angels to weave preparations for these special times of ministry.

If you waver in your faith and back up, this brings everything to a halt, not just in the natural but in the supernatural. Therefore, remember, that when I send you, there is much riding on your commitments. Do not waver in your faith and hold back in the Spirit. Rather, go forth with boldness, knowing that whom I send I also back with signs following.

“And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.” (Mark 16:20 KJV)

Hi Sandy!  What a wonderful confirmation to what the Lord has been training me in, and I've perceived the same in many peoples' lives.

It has been such a simple, but dynamic training course, that has touched my heart deeply.  About a week ago, on the way from taking my son to swimming club, I needed to pick up some items from the grocery store.  There are 3 on the way home, but each on opposite sides of the road with very different parking, and that at rush hour.  I decided to go to the last one, but as I started driving, I switched lanes to see 'if maybe' that parking lot wasn't like it always is at this time (and somehow it was not so busy), but I was driving too fast already.  Then I thought about the next store, and switched lanes quickly, but there was a speeding truck pushed off the timing for me to take the turn into the store, and it was a bit scary because it was raining.  Then I went to the last store, but because of my 'quick thinking' I was not prepared to give as the Lord had been directing me in days before that He would prompt me to give at a certain charity box.

Last night was the same, except I just went straight to the I store chose!  When I came to the charity box, the Lord had me put in a note of money in that I would have completely ignored and left in my pocket had I been waffling minutes prior.

I knew the Lord wants to direct my steps, I've asked Him to direct my steps, but we must let Him direct our steps in His Way, which is one of peaceable rest.

Thank you for your continued ministry to my family!

Oh Sandy.  How simply stated.  What a refreshing illustration.  A nugget sent by Special Delivery.  I think I've finally got it now.  This is an area I struggle with at times.  No more wavering!  No more second guessing!  No more holding back!   I've read so many posts about this subject over the years here on QWN, but for some reason, I wasn't comprehending.  Your words here have really penetrated.  When we hesitate or waver, we put everything behind us into a tail spin!  We lose our momentum and nothing gets accomplished.  Wow!  How true this has been!  We forget that not only do we halt things in the natural, but also in the Supernatural.  This is huge for me!  A mighty breakthrough!  Very excited and encouraged!  You made my day!  Thank you!  Theresa

Hi Theresa,

I am so glad you have a word picture to see this spiritual truth.  That experience and parable has stuck with me all these years.  The truth is that when we pray and angels are dispatched, but if we don't have the courage to follow through on our part, it puts everything on hold.

I am reminded of the little guy sitting in his highchair and he says, "I may be sitting down on the outside, but inside I am standing!"  It's all on the inside of us, that determined courage that trust God and pursues Him even when it doesn't show.  These things MATTER in the realm of the Spirit.

Luke 17:20-21   And when he was demanded by the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God comes not with outward observation:  21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you.

Hi Sandy,

That illustration of the little boy has always made me laugh!

This Word is speaking to me!  I can clearly see how relevent this is!  I have noticed for me in this last year or so, of an increased boldness. Especially after getting a "charge" from an International Prophet that said that God said to Come Forth!  I can no longer "linger" at the back of the line.

May we all have the courage to follow through, and not back up!

I also am quickened to "The Little Engine That Could" (before) I think I can, I think I can.......(after) I thought I could, I thought I could......
